The cap with a chain protects the connection part of the connector, preventing dirt and foreign objects from entering and causing issues with electrical connections. The cap for the receptacle (D/MS25043) comes with a gasket for drip protection. The D/MS A/B series is a solder-type connector compatible with the MIL-DTL-5015 standard. There is a wide variety of combinations of plugs, receptacles, and accessories, making it suitable for both cable extension and panel connection. With 12 shell sizes (#10SL to #36) and 5 contact sizes (#16 to #0), as well as 73 different insert arrangements, a diverse range of combinations is possible.
